Both events begin at the Los Lunas; Star Light Cinema parking lot. This spacious area allows the runners and spectators a spectacular view of both the El Cerro de Los Lunas and Monzano mountains. The courses are controlled by police, military and civilian volunteers.
The total elevation gain is 164 ft to the highest point above Los Lunas.
The run begins promptly at 7:30 am. The course circulates through the Huning Ranch neighborhood, past Sundance Elementary School, onto a crushed gravel path into the Jubilee Active Adult Community, back east through the Huning Ranch neighborhood. The controlled event ends a the Star Light Theater. The course has two water/sports drink stations.
The total elevation gain is 85 ft.
This event begins at 8:30 am and will loop through the Huning Ranch neighborhood. This is a fast course finishing back at the Star Light Theater with one water/sports drink station.
Refreshments; water/sports drinks/fruit will be available for finishers.
Awards will be presented to all category recipients following each event.
